Who we are

Northern Food Safety Consulting (NFSC) is a food safety consulting business operated by Nick Flynn. We operate from Finland and the United Kingdom.

What data we collect

We collect the following personal data through forms on this website:

  • Contact form submissions: name, company, email address, enquiry type, and optional message.
  • Lead magnet downloads: name and email address when you download a free resource.
  • Academy waitlist: name and email address when you join the waitlist for a course.

How we store your data

All form data is stored in Supabase, which uses AWS infrastructure within the European Union. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

How we use your data

We use the data we collect for the following purposes:

  • Responding to consulting and service enquiries.
  • Delivering free resources you have requested (such as the HACCP Template Pack).
  • Notifying you when a course you have joined the waitlist for becomes available.

We do not sell, share or provide your data to third parties for marketing purposes.

Email communications

If you download a resource or join a waitlist, you may receive a small number of follow-up emails related to that resource or course. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying with UNSUBSCRIBE or emailing nick@northernfoodsafetyconsulting.com.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use tracking cookies. We use Vercel Analytics, which collects anonymous, aggregated usage data only. No personal identifiers are collected or stored by our analytics.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request deletion of your personal data.
  • Request portability of your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Withdraw consent for any processing based on consent.
